Your hosts,
Keith and Lindsey Morgan, have been running bed and breakfasts in Ambleside
for over twelve years and will endeavour to make each and every guest’s stay
at Norwood House as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Being born and bred in
Ambleside, the Morgan’s local knowledge, coupled with Keith’s experienced
fell walking advice, will help you to make the most of this breathtakingly
scenic part of the world!
Having been a prominent
member of the Local Mountain Rescue Team with over 20 years
experience, Keith is able to offer advice on walks to suit all abilities.
The Morgan's can also provide guests with maps and guide books, along with a packed
lunch for group bookings, if ordered in advance.
One of the most
popular venues for visitors to the Southern Lake District, Ambleside
provides a wealth of visitor attractions and eateries, activities and
artefacts, and all without spoiling the unique charm and character of this
lovely place.
What, with the nearby
lake cruises, National Trust buildings - the homes of Wordsworth and
Beatrix Potter, waterfall walks, gift shops and much more, it is easy to
see why Ambleside so effortlessly attracts so many visitors year after
year.
